Call for Poster Abstracts

2026 APTA Alaska Fall Conference

The Alaska Chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association hereby issues a Call for Posters for the upcoming Fall 2026 Conference.

Submission & Acceptance

  • Abstracts are intended to represent scientific research, or content related to clinical practice. Advertisements are not acceptable.
  • All abstracts must be submitted online.
  • Submission deadline: October 9, 2026, 11:59 p.m. AK
  • There is no limit on the number of abstracts as presenting author or secondary authors.
  • Member(s) of the APTA Alaska Conference Committee review abstracts submitted and make the final decision regarding acceptance.
  • Notifications of acceptance will be sent to the presenting author on a rolling basis.
  • Ensure that your contact information is correct, as all correspondence relating to submissions will occur via email.

Conference Details

  • Posters must be displayed for the duration of the conference.
  • Poster authors are encouraged to be present next to their poster during scheduled break sessions to answer questions.

Fees

  • There is no fee for submitting a poster abstract.
  • There is no waiver of conference registration fees for presentation of a poster.

APTA Membership

At least one of your authors must be an active APTA member.

General Abstract Requirements

  • There is a limit of 3,125 characters for the text of your abstract submission, including spaces. This does not include author(s) information and references.
  • All submissions require the following elements:
    • Presenter/author information:
      • Full name
      • Email
      • Credentials
      • Institution(s)
      • City and state
    • Title: Limited to 15 words
    • References: Provide a minimum of five to seven current bibliographic references that are no more than seven years old (2018 and later)
