February 13, 2015: A new study from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) looked at the use of complementary health techniques and found that in 2012, 34% of adults in the US reported using 1 or more of the approaches, with 17.7% reporting the use of nonvitamin/nonmineral dietary supplements.
